Fashion trends of 2010 (Part 1) : Accessorise like a star

If there is one tip for dressing-up in 2010, it is this: ACCESSORISE. A few pieces of fashion accessories is all it takes to instantaneously update your look. What's more - it is far more economical than changing your wardrobe.

Take a look at any fashion magazine covers, runway pictures, fashion blogs, trendy boutiques or even on the streets, you will find that EVERYONE is accessorising.

Yes, many will say that the economy is at a less than ideal state and many of us may have to spend our money sparingly. But this is precisely the advantage of the accessorising in 2010: We can now jazz-up our tired blouses and dreary dresses by adding a little twinkly centre-piece.

How to accessories in 2010:

Necklace is the best for 2010 because it can dramatically uplift your outfit and with the right accessories, you can change the flavour of your look. Imagine this - you slip on one of your many casual blouses and your usual well-worn jeans. Nothing special, yes? Well, what if you add a slinky layered faux pearl necklace? If you do, you will find that you will be walking out in your 10-year-old jeans and 3-year-old blouse and still look good enough to go to a party.

Add a colourful sash when dressing simple.
